Providers drop connections now and then, and most start the next one a few seconds back. Lumen keeps hold of the stream and lets go of what you already saw, so the picture simply carries on.
No subtitles? Lumen writes them.
When a film or episode has no subtitles in your language, Lumen listens and writes them on your own computer, and translates them if you like. Nothing is uploaded.
