电视上的文本框现在使用 Lumen 自己的屏幕键盘。

Fixed

Fixed

  • 电视上的对话框。 询问合并还是替换家庭组的对话框打开时没有选中任何控件,因此无法用遥控器回应。现在对话框打开时会选中一个控件,并将焦点保持在对话框内。

Reliability work on household sync, browsing and episode artwork, and the first builds for the Mac and the iPhone.

Added

  • macOS, in preview. A universal build for Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 12 and newer, shipped as a ZIP holding the app bundle. It is not signed or notarised yet, so macOS asks once before the first launch.
  • iOS and iPadOS, in preview. An unsigned IPA for iPhone and iPad, iOS and iPadOS 15 and newer. You sign it with your own Apple Account and install it from a Mac or PC; there is no App Store listing yet.

Fixed

  • Continue Watching no longer returns to abandoned earlier episodes after a later episode is finished. Caught-up series return when refreshed metadata includes a new released episode, including a new season.
  • On TV, the next-episode popup focuses Play now and returns focus to playback controls when canceled.
  • Android TV playback controls recover focus when the video captures it, so remote navigation can resume without waiting for controls to auto-hide.
  • Desktop window controls remain readable over bright title artwork, and homepage scrollbars no longer interfere with the window-control area.
  • Detail pages load base information before optional enrichment, avoiding duplicate cold requests and reducing delays from slow metadata providers.
  • Episode artwork reuses verified replacements before retrying broken originals. Up to three visible episode repairs run concurrently and share identity lookups.
  • Failed episode images can use verified TMDB artwork without guessing season numbering. Lookups and replacement downloads are limited to visible episodes.
  • Sync recovery includes data uploaded by the recovering device and keeps local data intact until the complete household has downloaded successfully.
  • Household replacement is atomic; failed downloads and concurrent local edits cannot leave a partially replaced profile.
  • Delayed addon refreshes cannot reinstall removed addons or carry them into another household. Previously removed defaults stay removed after upgrading.
  • Existing shelf orders migrate into sync and apply immediately on another device. Delayed preference reads cannot undo a newer order.
  • Catalog failures show Retry even after earlier pages loaded successfully.

1.0.1

The first update after launch, from the first tester round: long series, the remote on TV, subtitles, and the next episode.

Added

  • Audio languages. A default spoken-language list beside the subtitle one (Settings → Playback), synced with it. Dubbed or original is now a preference, not a per-file choice.
  • Jump to season on long series, and episode ranges ("1–100", "101–200") for series with no season structure, opened at the next unwatched episode.
  • Subtitles that find themselves. When a file has no subtitle track in a language you want, the best match from your subtitle addon loads on its own. A forced-only track (signs and songs) gives way to the full track in the same language when there is one.

Changed

  • Your subtitle and audio choice is remembered per title, "off" included, instead of one global last pick. The global memory keeps languages only and ranks below your Settings list.
  • Language codes match in every form: a file tagged dut, an addon answering eng and a setting of nl or en now agree.
  • Subtitle size and background no longer sync between devices; they belong to the screen you sit in front of.
  • The next episode's sources are resolved during the last minutes of the current one, and the addon that served the current episode is enough to choose, instead of waiting for every addon to answer.

Fixed

  • TV: the remote never loses its place. Coming back from the player, a control is always highlighted; inside the player, while the controls are showing, every press lands on them or their menus. The dead presses on the Shield are gone.
  • Windows: the scrollbar can be dragged on Discover, catalog and series pages.
  • Many-season series (NCIS): the season row scrolls with the mouse, so the far seasons are reachable without a keyboard.
  • Trailers that stopped after a few seconds play through: the trailer relay no longer resends bytes after a restart.
  • Continue Watching shows a series once when it is reached through two catalogs (an anime catalog and IMDb).
  • Category and sort chips on TV show where the remote is.
  • Android: UPnP port mapping is off; it destabilised playback on the Shield and torrent peers do not need it.

1.0.0

The first public release. Windows is the stable build; the Android and Android TV builds ship beside it as a beta.

Added

  • A media center for the desktop and the TV. One app for browsing, searching and playing: a home board built from your addons' catalogs, Discover with genre, year and rating filters, series pages with their own episode pages, and trailers that play inside the app.
  • A playback engine that handles what you give it. Built on mpv and FFmpeg from LGPL sources with every LGPL decoder, hardware decoding on Windows and Android, and TrueHD, MLP and Dolby Atmos tracks decoding on Windows. Subtitle and audio selection, timing offsets, chapters, playback speed, audio presets for small speakers, keyboard shortcuts and hardware media keys.
  • Sources you choose. Lumen speaks the open addon protocol and ships no content sources: only the keyless Cinemeta metadata and OpenSubtitles addons. Install any addon from its manifest URL.
  • A library that keeps your place. Continue watching with dismiss, saved titles, mark season watched, a calendar of new episodes, and up-next that resolves the next episode's sources during the countdown.
  • Sync without an account. One 20-character pairing code links your devices. Rows are encrypted on the device before they leave it; the relay stores opaque identifiers and ciphertext it cannot read. Run the built-in relay or your own.
  • Lumen Pass. Syncing through Lumen's hosted relay is free for 14 days per household, then €19 once for that household, transferable, with no subscription. Playback, library, history, downloads, backups and every device stay free, and a self-hosted relay never needs a Pass.
  • Downloads and a phone remote. Resumable downloads, and a phone that drives another device over the local network with PIN pairing.
  • Trakt and TMDB. Scrobbling and watched-history import from Trakt, artwork and descriptions in your language from TMDB, both with your own keys.
  • 26 interface languages, with localized dates and numbers.
  • A Windows installer. Per-user install, no administrator rights, and it uninstalls from Settings, Apps like any other program.
  • Android and Android TV, in beta. arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a builds, remote-first navigation and an on-screen keyboard on TV. Verified so far on an NVIDIA Shield; sideloaded until the store listings are live.

Notes

  • Downloads and checksums are published at dl.lumen.movie, which also serves a small release feed (/releases/latest.json) for package managers and a future in-app update check.
  • The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows a SmartScreen notice on first run. Every file has its SHA-256 published beside it.
